After a day of renting the local kayaks, Cafe Reyes was on my list of places to go! The place is beautiful! Great outdoor area , shaded and beautiful indoor area. A couple of tv screens hang above the bar and on the side wall so you can watch sports (what was playing ). Cafe Reyes does have a legit pizza oven inside- you can watch them put the pizza's in. The neighboring shop's cute small dog wobbled near, lying at the entrance. We had ordered two pizzas: Tule & Palomarin. Practically identical with the exception of one with Boauerones and the other sausage. It would have been nice if they weren't so similar save one ingredient. There wasn't enough difference to make you order one vs the other - practically the same pizza aside the solo ingredient. Would've appreciated a little more uniqueness. Wood fire char hung on the crust. Delicious. Very hot and fresh. Didn't taste enough oomph. It was missing something. I don't want to say it was that bland, but nothing stood out too much. The mozzarella was semi- melted, still in little chunks. We had ordered wine, which was delicious. And hog oysters were great, tho it lacked a lot of the natural juices inside. Very meaty. The service was fantastic . Owners and waiters were what I'd come back for. The ambiance was great. All in all a great place to try in Point Reyes. Glad I tried it! And such a beautiful place! They're pizzas, though well crafted in their pizza oven, does in my humble opinion need a little more flare in flavor and uniqueness.

We stopped by here after a hike in Point Reyes. Huge fan of the pizza, particularly the pepperoni-mushroom. Might've been the hungry stomach brain-bias, but tasted the best of any pepperoni slice I've ever had. They were busy for a reason. We had a little over a 30 min wait - thankfully had drinks to tide us till the meal. The wood fire herb bread is basically a pizza without sauce - and also quite good. We had three pizzas (Farallon, Miwok, and Margherita), oysters, a Tossed Greens salad for two, and the herb bread and it was a feast for four folks.

I love coming here when I'm in Pt. Reyes - it's such a beautiful spot. I'm a sucker for wood-fired pizza and the ones here are perfect. Lovely to sit outside and enjoy dinner. Everyone who works here is really friendly and my dog had a great time, too!

We got here and the line was down the building, but it was quick to check in and they offered drink orders to have whole you wait for your table. Once we were checked in it wasn't a long wait and we were seated inside. The owner knew many of the regulars and stopped at most tables to say hello. We got a half order of oysters which came with a red wine vinegar garlic.mix which was delicious and the herb garlic bread was amazing. The pizza was great as well, a basic pepperoni since we had our kids with us. The outside space was cozy and the waiting area was a small garden. The inside wasn't too crowded with tables. There was only one bathroom, so expect a wait for that. Will definitely come again.

I stopped by Cafe Reyes on a Saturday evening after a long day of hiking around 5:00 p.m. Getting a seat outdoors was about a 30 minute wait because the weather was so nice, but an indoor table had no wait, so I opted to sit inside. When my friends and I received the menus, we were sticker shocked: how is food so cheap in the Bay Area? I am unsure how they are pricing their wood-fired pizzas around $15 a pie when other places are charging anywhere from $20 - $30 for the same product. Two pizzas ended up being the perfect amount of food for a party of four. My only criticism around the pizza is 1) that the dough is over-proofed, which leads to the crust being more dense and 2) one side of the pizza is noticeably more burnt than the other side because the pizza did not get rotated in the wood-fire oven. Other than these two minor criticism, you really can't go wrong stopping by Cafe Reyes for a casual, quick bite. Just be prepared for a potentially long wait if you stop by on a long weekend when the weather is exceptionally nice out.

Came here on a Sunday evening after spending the day at the beautiful Point Reyes National Seashore. Located on highway one, in a little town is this gem with reasonably priced pizza and drinks! (also raw oysters if that's you) Got a beer for $6, tomatoes with fresh mozzarella (seemed like they were roma tomatoes, was expecting something like an heirloom tomato), and two pizzas: Miwok and Palomarin. Heard a lot of people ordering after us ordering the same as well. The pizzas were very different. They both had the same sauce and pizza, but the Palomarin's pizza crust was wayyyy thinner and slightly undercooked. Had to drag each slice onto the place and cut/eat with a fork and knife. the Miwok pizza was great! the pizza wasn't as thin and was able to hold the sauce and cheese better. The salami they use is also great. overall, a cute and chill place, and would recommend coming here if you have the chance!

This spot checks the vibe box especially if it's sunny out. It's the perfect spot to grab a beer and some food on their deck post hike. The food is pretty good, but not amazing. The menu essentially consists of a bunch of pizzas and a few salads. My rationale for not giving 5 stars is that the pizzas are a bit soupy as in the sauce is a little too watery. If they could figure that out this place would truly be perfect.
